This airframe was about to leave the Qantas fleet in 1977 and had already the basic livery of Young Cargo when in November Qantas needed additional capacity to cover for the delayed delivery of a 747. This 707 was re-activated in November for a month and instead of re-gaining standard Qantas titles, the witty "Have a Qantastic Christmas" phrase was applied. The idea had came from a reservations advisor agent and turned out to be one of the very first times an airliner was used for marketing purposes. Ironically enough though, the aircraft was re-withdrawn from use before Christmas 1977.
